An episode of acid reflux belongs to the not-so-fun experience of parenting. Whenever it happens to our babies, we usually are stressed and anxious because we cannot possibly know how much pain our babies are in.
In dealing with our children’s acid reflux, we need to factor in what baby formula is agreeable to them. To start, we have to pick out what is safest, and those are the hypoallergenic ones.
• Kendamil Goat – Digestion is an important factor when it comes to baby formulas. Goat milk is relatively easier to digest than cow milk as it contains A2 milk protein. It also is pretty similar to breastmilk in terms of casein ratio.
• Holle A2 – This is a cow milk formula. However, it is pretty similar to Kendamil as it contains A2 beta-casein protein. This contains specific blends of whey protein and casein.
There is also special formula made specifically made for babies with reflux concerns.
• Similac for Spit Up – This one is good for babies who do not have galactosemia. It is easy to digest and reduces spit-up by 54%.
• Enfamil AR or Enfamil Anti-Regurgitation – This milk is formulated to improve consistency and promote soft stool. It decreases spit-up by 50%.
